    Don'y buy Denon

I don't know what the serial was on my other unit, but when Denon asked for the serial, I read them the one on the back of the unit that they sent back and they said it was the same unit that I sent in. I also remember that a couple days before I sent it off to Denon, my nephews show brushed...

    Denon avr-1910 Problems

Sorry this posting is very long because I have been having a heck of a time with my Denon receiver, which I'm almost ready to sell it and steer away from Denon, but wanted to see if I could get any input first on how to fix it. If you don't feel like reading a lot, just read the last two...

Need 7.1 receiver for Fluance speakers

Yeah, it was on e-bay brand new with a 1 year warranty, not sure if they're authorized dealer though. I guess if there wouldn't be a noticeable difference in the receiver, then I mind as well save the $130 and get the 6080.

Need 7.1 receiver for Fluance speakers

I was planning on ordering a receiver today but I had to put it off until next friday, but I was also curious, will there be a noticeable sound difference between the Yamaha HTR-6080 and the Denon AVR-1910? I can get the 6080 for $300 shipped or the 1910 for $430, not sure if thats with shipping...

Need 7.1 receiver for Fluance speakers

The 590 is only a 5.1. I am looking for a 7.1, I will be buying a receiver next Friday, since that's when I get paid. I just found a good deal on the Denon 1910 for $429! Are there any other receiver like the 1910, but for a better price besides the 607?

Need 7.1 receiver for Fluance speakers

Thanks David for the suggestions. I was looking at getting the Onkyo 607, but read a lot of problems on them getting really hot and making whining noises. The Denon 1910 is the one I am thinking about getting, just the price seems a little high for me. Any other suggestions?

Need 7.1 receiver for Fluance speakers

I need help on finding a good 7.1 receiver to go with the Fluance SXHTB speakers. I am going to start out with a 5 speaker system, but want a good 7.1 receiver for future upgrades. I am going to watch movies 80-90% of the time. Audeyssey and on screen features would be nice, but I can live...

$500-600 budget on Home Theater System

Would this be a good 7.1 receiver to go with? www.amazon.com/Denon-AVR-1609-7-1-Channel-Multi-Zone-Receiver/dp/tech-data/B001BKLC50/ref=de_a_smtd Or would sticking with a 5.1 receiver be just as good. I would assume that 7 speakers would get louder and sound better than 5 speakers (if they...

$500-600 budget on Home Theater System

From the other forums that I've read, I think I will get the Fluance speakers, would it be best to get two more Fluance speakers to make it 7 speakers, or should I get two different speakers? For now I will hold off on the sub until another month or so. I am just looking for two more speakers...

$500-600 budget on Home Theater System

Which would have better sound quality do you think, the Klipsch speakers for $400(I think I could get them to sell them for $350) or the Fluance for $300? If I went with the Klipsch then I would find two more speakers and a sub to make it a 5.1 system. If I went with the Fluance then I would...

$500-600 budget on Home Theater System

Well I am driven by the audio, but for the moment I can only spend about $600 at most on an audio system. I really like the Onkyo HT-S9100THX but It is $250 over my budget, I also really like that 7.2 receiver. I guess I would like to put a system together since you said it will probably give...

My current system is the Panasonic SC-HT80. $500-600 budget on Home Theater System

What would be a good system for around $500-600 that would still get loud and sound good. So far the systems that I like is the Onkyo S6100, Samsung HT-BD1250 . Would there be any other systems in my budget that would beat the quality of either of these?
