As a novice I have a question regarding home theater speakers. I understand that the majority of the dialogue and sound comes from the center channel. If this is the case, then why the need for large tower speakers except for music? Aren't the R/L speakers of lesser importance?

My problem is with dialogue/spoken word. Could be my ears but I seem to hear better when viewing other people's TVs. As far as overdriving the speakers they are simply drawing the audio from the TV via digital cable. The TV gets it,s input directly from my cable box, no receiver involved.

Can anyone give me a review of Axiom speakers? Using them for on-wall speakers for home theater.
