Press Release BVHE Press Release: Guardians of the Galaxy (2023) (4k UHD Combo) (Blu-ray)

I too have the first two in blu ray 3D. Part 2 I had to get the region free 3D disc from the U.K. I've read that the Japan 4K/3D combo pack is very expensive. Around $80.00 U.S. I'm in Canada so after the exchange rate, it would be $110.00 Canadian. Way too expensive for a blu ray movie.

What Forgotten Films do you want on Blu ray or 4K?

"Looking for Mr. Goodbar" 1977 Diane Keaton and "Little Darlings" 1980 Tatum O'Neal. Would be amazing to have the TV version of "Little Darlings" as an extra. Many scenes added in the TV version. Both from Paramount which I hear are too cheap to pay for the music rights on both movies.

Pre-Order The Promise (1979) (Blu-ray) Available for Preorder

I think this was a bomb when released. I saw it once on VHS. I will watch again, as it was filmed in the 2:35 aspect ratio. Will be nice to see it in it's original widescreen version. I am a fan of Kathleen Quinlan

The ORIGINAL Amityville Horror is Coming to 4K UHD!

Would be great if Vinegar Syndrome releases Amityville 2 and 3. For part 2, I hear there are deleted scenes, but it may be lost forever. If VS can find them, fantastic. I have the Scream Factory box set, and I read that Amityville 3D was not transferred correctly. I have a Panasonic Plasma 3D...

Press Release PHE Press Release: Paramount Presents! Bugsy Malone (1976) (Blu-ray)

There was a TV show "After they were famous" for British TV. One episode was on Bugsy Malone. It was made in 2003. Jodie, Scott, John Cassisi, Florrie Dugger all met for a mini reunion. I did not see anything negative between Jodie and Scott. I guess 18 years later they both changed. The...

Press Release PHE Press Release: Paramount Presents! Bugsy Malone (1976) (Blu-ray)

Would of been good if there was commentary from the cast, Scott Baio, John Cassisi - Fat Sam, Jodie Foster. I wonder if there was a behind the scenes filmed during production, that would of been great to see as well.

TV Movie Titles We'd Unlikely See on Blu-Ray or DVD for That Matter...

The old Prism label released a number of TV movies back in the day. Kino and Shout Factory have released some TV movies on DVD / blu ray. I have on Prism VHS "Little Ladies of the Night" 1977 teen prostitution, "No place to hide" Kathleen Beller 1981 thriller. Another Kathleen Beller thriller...

    A Few Words About A few words about…™ The Haunting (1999) — in Blu-ray

Terrible movie. For a haunted house movie, I'll stick with the original 1979 "Amityville Horror", 1982 "Amityville 2: The possession" and 1980 "The Changeling"

PHE Press Release: Paramount Presents! The Haunting (1999) (Blu-ray)

This is a terrible movie. Watched it about a year ago on one of the movie networks. First saw it back in 1999 and did not like it then either. Paramount should focus on movies that have never been released on DVD / blu ray such as "Looking for Mr. Goodbar" and "Little Darlings". But I hear...

Press Release BREAKING NEWS: Paramount Pictures Launches “Paramount Presents” Label

I have what looks like the last VHS Paramount released of this movie. Back cover says the tape is from 2000. DVD was just starting to take over, I would think Paramount would of released it on DVD back then. I heard Paramount does not want to pay for the music clearances, which is the same...

Press Release BREAKING NEWS: Paramount Pictures Launches “Paramount Presents” Label

Will this mean Paramount will finally release "Looking for Mr. Goodbar" and "Little Darlings"? I won't hold my breath, as they are known not to pay for the music rights. Plus the high demand for "Friday the 13th Part 3" blu ray 3D, not the red and blue glasses version. Again I won't hold my...

Win an Onkyo TX-NR1030 9.2 channel Dolby Atmos AV Receiver

I am currently using a Technics 5.1 / DTS receiver from 1998. I really need to upgrade my home theatre sound. I've read that Onkyo is one of the best home theatre receivers, and having Dolby Atmos would be fantastic to go with my 60 inch 3-D Panasonic ZT plasma, and blu ray.

    WTB: White Lightning/Gator Widescreen LaserDisc

Da Don's Laserdisc wants $130.00 for a sealed copy. I find that too expensive for me. I don't get why MGM put both movies Full Screen on DVD. Especially for Gator, which was filmed in 2:35:1. Hopefully we will get widescreen versions on Blu Ray. I just keep checking e-bay for a lower priced...
