Yeah I'd agree that including the Ripley long pause was essential, considering Fincher's strong wishes back in the day. Makes me wonder why it wasn't even on the Assembley Cut to begin with, if that's the earliest cut of the film Charles and his team found... before the later reshoots took place.

I'm not worried either. He sounds very enthusiastic about it, so that's good enough for me. Sounds like it'll be a fresh experience.
