Possible good news regarding Bride on Blu Ray? The Turner Classic Movies Festival in Los Angeles is showing a print of The Bride of Frankenstein with a sterling new audio restoration perhaps this indicates a 75th Anniversary year Blu Ray/DVD release???

This year The Bride of Frankenstein will celebrate it's 75th Anniversary surely it's the year that Universal should commit this classic movie to the Blu Ray format or at the very least celebrate the 75th Anniversary with a brand new DVD release with a crisp new print???

I think Bride is just a great stand alone movie altogether , and not just as part of the Universal Monster Movie series. It is a far greater film in my opinion than all the other movies Universal made during the period 1931 - 1945. I'd love to see one frame of the Technicolor test they did...

It's a great pity that Paramount no longer owns Mae West's classic movies and that Universal who does own the rights hasn't added any decent extras to the bare bones boxset which came out a couple of years back! I for one would love a set of her best movies along with a Life Of Mae West...
