I had HBO fired up just so I could view this. Having just rewatched all of Six Feet Under my high expectations are not being met at this point. I could also use a lot more Zydeco music. But, Sookie and Bill are smokin' together IMHO.

Goofs: In Texas it's pronounced "EL-gin" with a hard G, not "EL-jin". Also, Elgin and Corpus Christi are over 200 miles apart, not close even by Texas' lengthy standards. With these two errors in one sentence I thought perhaps someone was being tested, but no, it was just a screwup.

Has a Coen Brothers film ever been #1 at the box office before?

I've always wanted to see Dragonwyck so this is good news. For years I've had it in my head that Lyndhurst, a wonderful mansion in Terrytown, was the filming location. I can't find anything to corraberate that, but the location of the story is certainly meant to be a Hudson River estate.

Mine is in transit, pretty jazzed about getting this one!
