For certain regions, sure, but Criterion's license for releasing "Breathless" doesn't come from Studio Canal. I'm not sure who Criterion's license is from but it could be Rialto, mk2, or Genius.
Just like Studio Canal released a blu-ray for "Last Year At Marienbad," Criterion hasn't lost...

It probably means that because of the lower price during the Criterion sale on Amazon's site for the past month, many people jumped on the deal, Amazon ran out of stock, Amazon doesn't know when they'll get in a new shipment from Criterion, and you missed out on a great blu-ray at a great price. CC
Correct, JediFonger. At this time, I do not work for Criterion. ;) Then again, I've never worked for Criterion, and I seriously doubt that I'll ever have such an opportunity.
Alas, I'll just stick to my title as a 'fan' of their work. :)
