Captain Video And His Video Rangers - Television on DVD Starring Al Hodge & Richard Coogan; Alpha Video : OLDIES.com Yes!! It's gonna be released by Alpha Video, who seems to be searching really deep to find public domain goodies to release. Al Hodge & Richard Coogan are both listed as being...
Yes they are. All American works published before 1963 without being submitted for copyright are considered "public domain". A quick search shows that not a single 50's-era episode of those TV programs were submitted for copyright.
Super Circus - Volume 1 (6 Episodes) - Television on DVD Starring Mary Hartline; Claude Kirchner & Nikki The Clown; Alpha Video : OLDIES.com Being a young fan of early TV I cannot wait. Shokus Video had previously released a few episodes but they were expensive. Ever since Alpha released...
I had some spare money so today I got "Dragon Ball Z" Season 2 and "All-Star Family Feud". I wanted to get a PD 50's sitcom as well but I didn't have enough money.
I'd certainly be interested to see "After Mash" on DVD. Has anybody here seen it? My problem with many later episodes of Mash was that they were VERY political and sometimes cloying, and I wonder if "After Mash" might be more my kind of thing. Back on topic, I've seen a VERY brief clip from...
A few weeks ago I bought "Best of Match Game DVD Collection" on Amazon, which I'm really enjoying watching despite my young age, and I pre-ordered "Sister, Sister - The First Season" for my daily required dose of 90's Nostalgia. I decided to take a break for a few weeks buying DVDs since I...

I've been wondering, now that Alpha Video has started releasing DVDs of failed TV pilot and one-off "live drama" productions, when will some company release a DVD of "orphaned" ie mostly destroyed TV series that only have 1 or 2 surviving episodes? I think that there must be at least some...
They were dumped into a Bay, not a river. According to Edie Adams, "One of the lawyers doing the bargaining said that he could "take care of it" in a "fair manner," and he did take care of it. At 2 a.m. the next morning, he had three huge semis back up to the loading dock at ABC, filled them all...
Agreed. Even if nobody wants to see "The Family Genius" again, shows like "Down You Go" could of been big hits on GSN before they went sour along with TVLand.
Um, Hi, I'm new here. Well...I'm looking for rare and unusual public domain TV programming on DVD, perhaps from very small DVD companies. This is because I'm part of the 'Internet Archive' website, who are currently trying to expand their "Classic TV" section, and also because I enjoy watching...
