    Hi, The 12' was wall to wall - I'm about 7'-8' away from where the screen will be. I have a nice (old) maple wood book shelf that holds my current TV and I'll be replacing it with this new one. The 32" fits perfectly on the width and the height with stand gives me about a 1/4" from the top...
