    ^^ yeah i got you know. Me personally ive never understood why people spend $5k on floorstanders. But then again ive never heard those kinds of speakers in person before either. To each his own i guess.

    not to be rude or anything, but what is exactly so bad with any of these brands? I think the Polk and Klipsch are especially a good value for the money.

    yeah the monitor 50's are kinda on the small side, but since space is an issue get some bookshelf's with some sturdy speaker stands. Not as much power but still aesthetically pleasing...

    I would definetly go with floor standers in your situation, unless you absolutely hate the asthetics of a speaker being there. In wall speakers can sound good however if properly set up right. I see a lot of people just cut a hole and shove em in there, but if they would just set the time aside...

    Not sure if you want a quality 2.1 setup or 5.1, but if you want 2 channels than I would recommend the Polk RTi A7 or A9 series. They have dual 7 inch woofers, 5.25 mid and 1 inch tweeter. Hope that helps....

    In all honesty, Polk really is a good value for the price, but I wouls not recommend the monitor series at all. If you want at least double the quality of sound get the RTI series. Youll be gkad you did.
