    American Idol - Season 7

I agree-Hanson, you seem to have a personal issue with David Cook and are letting that get in the way of your critiques. You generally are very honest and accurate, as Simon is, but something is getting in the way for you this time. If you don't like his singing, hey, to each their own. But the...

    American Idol - Season 7

I enjoy David Cook every week b/c to me, his performance's are the most "concert-like" every time. He just seems to put more into the production and feel of his arrangements. My 2 cents.

Help me decide. HK or Onkyo

My Onkyo never got very hot, certainly not any hotter than any other receiver out there. The easiest solution was the first provided-buy an hdmi switcher and plug it into your receiver and the components into the switcher. You should be able to either hit a button or use a remote that automatically changes the switch to the source you want to use.

Using Bose Acoutimass cubes with A/v Reciever??

What should be said is that, yes, technically you can do it. Will you be happy with the results should be the next question. The answer will most likely be "no". I would surmise that the bose speakers will sound better when using all bose stuff, b/c of the eq issues mentioned above. I would also...

?Proper wiring for my home theater?

You should route everything through your receiver, IMO, instead of through the tv. Then you will using the receiver to process the sound directly, instead of getting it back from the tv. But you can only do this if your receiver supports all the connections you have (hdmi, etc). Another plus-you...
