    New amp now what?

That sounds good. Do you think it would be better to go with dual subs or with 1 large 1 with twice the power? Thats one of the things that I have no idea about. Does it matter or is it just to each is own?

    New amp now what?

I just picked up a nice carver 2 ch. amp, it's a beast. Now I was wanting some of you guy's to tell me what you would do with it. First off I have 5.1 set up. Reciever is Integra 7.8 and speakers are Klipsch rf 83's and matching suronds, rt 12d sub. I can do so much with the amp I can't make up...

    Onkyo TX-SR805

I will most likely get a blu-ray now that the war is over, already have a xbox 360. I think that I have a better understanding of why I lost video from my dvd.

    Onkyo TX-SR805

Some of my info got screwed up. "THX recommends that video signals pass through the system without upconversion(e.g. component video through to component video output). It's also recommended that you set the Immediate Display preference to off." I looked up the immediate display section and it...

    Onkyo TX-SR805

I just ran into that problem with my integra 7.8. I had no problem with my cable box running HDMI into the integra but when I tried the DVD I had no video. I used Svideo and composite; I had sound, no video. I am 99.9% positive that I did all of the assignments right. I also had a small sheet of...

    Klipsch RT D12

Thanks for all the help. The room I use for my home theater may be one of my biggest problems to overcome. It's L-shaped room thats almost square on each side (if that makes sence) and about 500 sqft. I'm limited as to where I can put my sub either left or right of my t.v. The sub has plenty of...

    coax and rf conn.

Thanks for the info. I have Comcast cable so one run it is. I just found Belden RG6 that is 4.5 GHZ sweep test but it's a tri sheild not quad. The quad is 3 GHZ, would the quad still be the way to go or is the 4.5 GHZ tri sheild a better coax for HD cable?

    Klipsch RT D12

I'm just simply going off what I hear, maybe that's the problem. After I use the room correction I always go back to adjusting by ear.

    best buy or circuit city?

I would stay out of bestbuy, I like circuit city. I also agree that a independant stereo store will give good info and then find what you want and hit the web. You could save lost of money or not much at all.

    Klipsch RT D12

Does anyone else have one and what do you think of it. I really like mine but I have one question. I don't like the room correction feature I feel it takes alot away from the sub. I've also been told to do the room correction 7 or 8 time in a row is that true? thanks M@

    Onkyo 705 vs 805

The 805 is the way to go. It gets warm and is big and heavy but it makes my klipsch rf 83's come to life.
