Ok, I'm just a consumer schmo. What exactly does this mean. Is "main title" referring to the isolated soundtrack?
Is the out of sync soundtrack part of the actual film beginning?
I get my copy of the film sometime today.
I give the video 2.5 out of 5.
some scenes are crisp and fantastic and others grainy and blurry. Reminds me of the Green Berets. clear and crisp - blurry - back to clear and crisp. Started getting annoying after a while.
movie - great
sound - great
extras - great
video - meh
this was the same...
Oh I'm not in that camp, I never seen or heard of this until this viewing. totally caught me off guard. It just doesn't fit, it doesn't make sense. I was like " what the heck is that?" . LOL it just boggles my mind why that was done.
picked up a copy yesterday. I like the color and sound improvements. but why does LF/Disney keep foofing with the greedo scene. sweet creeping jesus… they just love to keep poking us in the eye with nonsense changes.:wacko:
I'm not one of the haters, but one of the minor things that bugged me was the color. how does the color look? the 2011 set had a lot of magenta during the shooting and the blue on R2D2 was pretty strong during the desert scenes.
I'm on the fence for purchasing, It really needs to be an...
got my copy of Rise of Skywalker from Disney - w00t!
cranked it up to "11" and it was awesome.
The ending sound killed my 20 year old subwoofer -
the baffles around the speaker which wore out over the years failed.
best looking and best sounding Star Wars in my opinion.
I watched my copy of The Black Hole last night. I enjoyed it very much.
While I can appreciate the discourse over the overture, it doesn't bother me.
I did find that the volume is on the same level with the Last Jedi, I had to really turn up the dial to get decent levels.
Picture quality was...
ok, so I tried it again, but I fired up the receiver at the menu, then the 5.1 kicked in. Sounds awesome! I had already had the receiver on the first time with the radio playing and when I switched to BD/DVD for some reason it didn't detect the sound correctly, re-booting the receiver fixed...
Hi gang, I just received my copy. Looks awesome. My question is. It is only playing in LPCM 48 two channels.. when I display the settings on the TV it shows DTS-HD Master Audio 5.1 48kHz..
Is that notmal? It is only paying on the front left/right. The receiver is set to auto audio detect...
I just received my copy and it is truly astonishing. I double... no triple recommend it.
this film should be the talk of the town, not multi released-edition movies!!!!
buy it, watch it, best film I've ever seen of this event ever.
and crank up than volume for the launch!!!!
I'd love to see - at least on Bluray to start
To hell and back, Audie Murphy
Carl Sagan's Cosmos
20k Beneath the Sea (Disney Live action)
Dragon Slayer
30 Seconds Over Tokyo
Johnny Tremain (Disney live action)
The Black Hole
That's all, I'm not greedy. LOL
Josh, as a "regular shmoe" I have to agree with this 100%. I see so many movies re-released over and over in every special edition you can think of. There is nothing these days that interest me anymore. So many of the movies that I would like to see will most likely never be put on Bluray...
OK I love this movie, even though I don't have 4K, I'll pick it up.
I went to see this at the movie theater on Ft Hood in 1985 as a 19 year old 1st Cav Bradley Driver. First off, being on post, we all had to rise to honor the National Anthem at the beginning of the film.
That got us all in...
It bugs me to no end that some titles get multiple releases every 6 months and some movies NEVER get a bluray or are just streaming.
I'm no insider, I'm somebody that wants to throw money at movies. I have not bought a new bluray in over a year. It is the same old "anniversary" "limited...
According to some non-film related boards. some people did not go see Solo because of TLJ. They hated it so much that they wanted to stick it in Disney's eye.
they didn't care who was in it, what it was about it was all about TLJ and "FU" to Disney. That is the impression I get from people who...
I saw it in theater. I thought it was good fun. My friends thought so as well. I took the adult out of my head and pretended I was 14 again. Lots of fun that way.
I think people didn't go see Solo because The Last Jedi was disappointing to them; not because Solo was bad. They wanted to stick it to LF and KK.
I enjoyed for The Last Jedi and I enjoyed Solo. I am in the minority. :wave-hello:
I have to say that this was a great 3D Bluray. I enjoyed it all. Thanks to Ron for posting the link!!!!
ETA: I watched it on my Sony 60in Passive 3d TV and my Sony 3D player. great stuff!
