Yes, it does have the keepcases of the individual releases. With that said, though, the individual releases come with slipcovers, and the ones in the tin don't. It's not THAT big of a deal, but knowing how some collectors are with slipcovers...
That list is absolutely terrible. They leave off Groundhog Day (along with other worthy movies such as Ghostbusters), yet they add the following: Fever Pitch Black Sheep (I'm not a Tommy Boy fan, but they should have gone with that if they wanted to list Farley/Spade movie) Blades Of Glory...
No one's disagreeing with you that Grindhouse was a good movie. But the fact is, based on financial performance, if flopped. Others have already reiterated why that is the case.
Goddamn. This looks like a COMPLETELY pointless release afterall. I'll stick with the Dread Pirate Edition I have, despite the fact that the new release's cover art is undeniably cooler.
I wouldn't be opposed to it. I tend to buy used stuff often. Hell, I got a used copy of the "3 Films by Louis Malle" Criterion box set at FYE, with the discs in pristine condition.
Well, I bit recently and picked it up for a few bucks at Best Buy last week. Knowing my luck, expect a Chinatown: Criterion Collection announcement in another week or so. >_>
I know that the steelbook edition that Fox is releasing is a 2-disc set. But is this set identical to the Five Star Collection release that Fox released years ago, just in the aforementioned steelbook? Thanks in advance.
You know what's funny? The Graduate is a title I always assumed would get a "collector's edition" or "deluxe edition", but I ended up picking up the current bare-bones edition at FYE for $9 less than a month ago. -_- Oh well. The Graduate is a title I'd gladly double-dip for.
Well, maybe I can order it at the FYE I work at, if they have had it in stock. There's a chance that there will be one in the warehouse they can ship to my store. :)
I remember hearing about this a while ago, and since I tend to be somewhat OCD about these things, I held off on re-buying the current version (long story). And then no one had any information on it. Even at the store I work at. :frowning:
Well, when you consider that shows like 7th Heaven and Gilmore Girls won't be returning next season, along with the fact that the network execs (at least now, anyway) seem intrigued with the concept of skipping ahead a few years with Veronica working in the FBI, perhaps it will go another...
I think people should have learned after Snakes On A Plane that just because something is popular on the Internet doesn't mean it will be popular in the mainstream.
I typically go to FYE, due to the fact that I work there, and as a result: A) I get a discount (which helps, since I'll be the first to admit that we're pricey). B) I can order anything I'm interested in, without having to pay a deposit. Hell, all the Criterion titles in our store, aside...
I managed to pick up the following for the $9.99 price last week, with the BOGO Free promotion (from the previous week when they were on sale for $19.99) Enter The Dragon One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest Boogie Nights (for my friend Alisha) Bullitt East Of Eden Rebel Wtihout A Cause...
