    MK sound is it dead?

Yes M&k is dead unfortunately. I consider myself lucky to have their S-150 THX 7.1 system and 2 M&K THX subs. I'm glad I bought when I did, although it did take about 6 weeks to get all of the speakers after I ordered them. I believe that their long delivery times on their consumer line of...

Monster Power Conditioner vs Voltage Stabilizer?

I have a Monster power conditioner and a 7.1 120 watt Dennon. I consider the power conditioner a waste of money. If I had it to do over I would buy a cheep surge protector.

Miller & Kreisel Has Officially Closed, Feb. 22, 2007

I just bought the last set of SS-150 Tripoles I could find. Now I can finally go to 7.1. Don't know what I'll do of any of my M&K S-150's ever give up. Hopefully by then the company will be back making the same outstanding speakers!

Miller & Kreisel Has Officially Closed, Feb. 22, 2007

I'm sorry to hear that. I have had a S-150 system using 2 of their 150 subs for 4 years. I love the system, and the speaker size makes them unobtrusive when mounted high on the wall. I was planning on buying 2 more S-150 surrounds and go to 7.1. I guess I should start checking dealer stock...

    Dual Subs Experience

I'm using 2 M&K 150 subs in a 3500cu/ft room stacked on one another and am very pleased with the sound. There have been times when I have had to lower the output by 3db when the program material has too much (for my room) dynamic range in the LF content. It is nice to never run out of bass.

    Best speakers

I had my M&K 150 5.1 system using 2 150 subs stacked upon each other for over 4 years now and still get thrilled with their sound. I using a Denon THX ultra 2 AV receiver. It's buried in an antique hutch and I'm too lasy to pull it out to get the model #. Even my wife is glad I bought it.
