I have a Sharp Aquos 42" and love it. Picture is great and the set is good looking too. Picture quality for HD material (Blue Ray and Sat) is fantastic to me. I think you can find some deals online that can keep you around the price you are looking at.

The firmware is easy to update as long as you know how to burn an image to a cd. Just download the files, un zip them and burn an image to the cd and your ready to go. Anybody got an idea on how to get PCM output to a 7 speaker set up with the analog outs on the Sammy? I need a temporary fix if there is one. I played with PCM through the analog outs for DTS HD through 5 channels and there is definately a difference in the sound quality to me. I just hate to...
