    universal remote question

I'm wanting to get a good remote to control my HT, I like the Logitec harmony 1000. Is that a good one? I like the idea of the touch screen, but i don't like the fact that you have to get an RF extender to control lights. Any suggestions?

    Center makes a buzz sound

I have a infinity cascade C3 center hooked up to a HK reciever and when I turn it fairly loud to watch a movie it makes a buzzing or humming sound. It has 4 connectors on the back, and the book did give a option to bridge. Do I need to do that?

    Set up question

The receiver I bought (Harmon Kardon AVR 445) is supposed to have a built in audio calibrator. Is that the same thing or does it just make sure the sound is getting to the right spot? if not what is a spl meter and how much does something like that run?

I ran my wire this past weekend, and have a question. Bob told me NOT to run my surround w/ the rg6 because it was line level, which I didn't, but my question is: I have 2- 2" conduit running down the wall where my amp will be, in one I have the rg6 for the sub and the other I have all the...

Will playing Play Station on front projector burn bulb fast

Talked to a Salesman @ a local specialty HT ctr. today, is he accurate?

I told him I was getting the Panasonic AX100U projector, he told me it was junk. He said 2000 lumens were low and that I would be changing bulbs once a year or so. Is this accurate? am I going to cheap on a projector? I heard that you get a lot of bang for your buck w/ this one. My room will be...

    Flush-mount or Stand alone speakers?

Thanks for your reply Bob, can you get the same quality w/ flush-mount or will I sacrifice sound for space? My room will be 15.5 X 18 so I do have room for stand alones, I just find that wall speakers look cleaner. What brands should I be looking for if I decide to go free standing?
