I was interested in those but after reading so much about the Ventriloquist VT-12 with an STF-2, I decided to give a try to the HSU. If I dont like the quality, change the sat to better ones and keep the STF-2.

I have the Z-680 also hooked it up to my pc. They are great for pc or small room ht.

I noted you have KEF??? I went to circuit city today and heard the KEF http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/KEF-H...oductDetail.do ..boy that stuff sounded awful. I had to move out of the mini home theater room asap. The echo coming from those speakers were driving me crazzy.

Thanks guy.! It is hard to buy when the budget is tight. I am buying a new house that is why my budget is so limited. I think i have to do more research with the speakers or go with the original HSU pkg with the STF-2 sub

I looked at the aperion webside. Not bad. The bookshelf are not that big. One question: the room is 25x25 including both dinning and living room. The system will be in the half of the living room. Maybe 15x15. Is that still a problem for the HSU sat? Thanks guys for all the help.
