C’mon CBS, Paramount or whatever the hell you’re calling yourself now. Open your eyes and wallet and release the entire Ben Casey series.
I didn’t mind that your first release wasn’t restored and I don’t mind if future releases aren’t either. Just release with unedited prints.
From what I was...
Hi all,
It appears that Paramount/CBS is reopening its TV library with the recent blu ray release of all TAGS seasons.
Now if they could just open their eyes and wallets and finish releasing unedited Ben Casey episodes !!!
I don’t even care if the prints are restored or even blu ray. Just...
Hi all,
For those of you who are interested,
a season 2, episode 1 of this series, starring Patty Duke, has been posted on Youtube.
Very complete episode of good visual quality, albeit a little over processed, which runs right to the AMA tag at the end.
Hopefully, more episodes will be posted...
Hi All,
I recently watched a 16mm print of an episode of the Honeymooners from the ‘55-‘56 season. The CBS logo at the end of this episode did not have the well known CBS Iris logo. It had another Iris version that looked like the one below.
Its too bad that when CBS/Paramount remastered this...
C’mon CBS don’t just make this a one and done. I enjoyed the season one DVD set and even though no restoration work was done, it was still great to see this well written series again. It also garnered great cutstomer reviews on Amazon. :emoji_ok_hand:

Hi All,
I enjoyed the first 2 volumes of this series (video issues aside) and was wondering if it sold well enough to warrant the release of season 2 ?

Hi All,
Someone with the YouTube name County General has begun uploading episodes of Ben Casey.
Episodes 1 and 2 were uploaded yesterday and hopefully more are on the way.
While the quality isn't out of this world, I'll take this great series anyway I can get it.
I now have 16 episodes total...
Hi All,
The increasing chatter about the death of 3DTV has me concerned and I'm sure many of you 3DTV owners feel the same way. LG and Samsung have announced that they will slowly be phasing out 3DTV production. I have quite a collection of 3D movies that will be no good to me unless I can find...
Hi All,
I've seen this topic discussed years ago on this board, but eventually the thread topic veered away from permitting and instead members started talking about specific installations regarding wiring or soundproofing.
So I ask that you just respond to the topic please...how many of you...
I was wondering if DVD distributers/marketers ever test marketed the interest in a TV series by putting out a limited release of a show, like a 5 episode DVD, to see if there is any interest, before investing money on a complete and restored release.
There are many great TV shows still...
Hi All,
I'm getting very frustrated here as I see the releases into May of this year and not even a hint of news regarding the release of a Ben Casey DVD.
It so damn frustrating to see shows with lesser quality content being released, while this classic just gathers dust on a shelf. I know...
Hi All,
I recently had the occasion to be in the vicinity of several "little ones" watching Timmy and Lassie and couldn't help but hear the music scores/cues that accompanied this show. I was reminded of a post I made on another site around 10 years ago and was surprized to find others were...
Hi All,
Few things frustrate me more than to know that an awesome TV series is sitting on a shelf gathering dust while lesser quality shows (IMHO) are being released to DVD. Such is the case with Ben Casey.
I respect each individual's tastes in TV shows, but...That 70's Show getting released...
Hi All, The "Rifleman" discussion touched on the topic of a Rifleman Soundtrack CD, which I'd buy in a heartbeat. I have soundtracks from shows such as "The Adventures Of Superman", "The Outer Limits", "Star Trek", Many of the Irwin Allen programs..."Lost In Space", "Time Tunnel" etc. and...
Just had a chance to watch this DVD set and the Live Feed processing is outstanding. It looks very much like early B/W videotape without the video "noise." This old film now has more "depth" then it had previously and also has better contrast. Any herringbone pattern and flickering, inherent...
