Haven't gotten around to watching any of my new ``Star Trek: The Next Generation'' Blu-ray sets yet, but I did watch the ``Star Trek: Enterprise'' pilot on my new Blu-ray set and it looked fabulous!
Finally bit the bullet yesterday and bought ``Star Trek: The Next Generation'' Seasons 1-4 on Blu-ray, AND ``Star Trek: Enterprise'' Season 1 on Blu-ray. I used my Amazon Rewards points for three of the five sets. I own ALL of the Star Trek series on DVD, with the exception of the Original...

Definitely ``Lost'' S6 on Blu-ray, ``Emergency!'' S6 on DVD. ``JAG'' S10. Reluctantly, I'll buy ``Flash Forward'' S1 Volume 1...even tho I'd really rather buy the first full season on Blu-ray. ``Sabrina the Teenage Witch'' S6.
``Monk'' S8
``Night Court'' S3 ``In Plain Sight'' S2
Still waiting...
I know what would surprise us, a complete series set of Magnum P.I. with Detroit Tiger's cap and Hawaiian shirt. Ha! That's great, Mark...I'd love to see that...don't know if I'd buy it, but I'd love to see it!
Okay...catching up on some more TV on DVD orders since late December:
Jan. 20: Pre-ordered ``Peanuts: Snoopy's Reunion'' from Amazon
Jan. 21: The day ``Lost'' S5 premiere aired, I jumped all over the Amazon pre-order listing to order my copy of this season on Blu-ray.
Feb. 4: Pre-ordered...
Excellent! Isn't Blu-ray just that much better...I have a Sony PS3 that I've used as my primary DVD player since I bought it in October of 2007...what amazing machine, does a wonderful job of upconverting my DVDs, too.
I hear ya on the pain of losing the two dogs, Radioman...nope, no ETs...just have been real bad about keeping up with this forum, blame work, watching lots of TV and TV on DVD, hanging with my cats, oh, and Facebook.
I am amazed that we're getting the 8th season so quickly, but not at all anxious...not now, when we're so close and the set has been announced...but I can certainly agree that I was silently fuming about the length of time between some of the seasons...like Regulus, I'm hoping that they'll now...
Having finally watched the first season of the U.S. version of ``The Office''...it makes me cringe...I'm not especially eager to rent later seasons...even there were some really funny parts...Steve Carell's character just makes me cringe.
Don't know about whether ``Captain's Log Collective'' was from Sci-Fi channel airing, but given their other packaging of similar kinds of episodes in other themes, such as time travel, Borg and alternate realities, I'm inclined to guess no.
Yeah, you're right on that score...speaking of which, I gotta figure out where I dropped off so that I can finish this...lost track for a while there late last year.
Yeah, I used to be pretty regular on this thread until then, didn't I? Ha! No, no ET abductions! Just got real busy and kind of inattentive to this for too long, not that I wasn't watching TV on DVD, tho, far from it.
``Band of Brothers'' on Blu-ray was awesome, was it not? Wow. I'd already seen it once all the way through on regular DVD, and that was very good, but boy, the Blu-ray really makes a difference visually. Am now re-reading the book by Stephen Ambrose.
Okay, wow...it appears that until my reply above that I hadn't posted here since early October...
Oct. 22, I pre-ordered ``Night Court'' S2, ``Tripping the Rift'' S3
Oct. 30, pre-ordered ``Emergency!'' S5 (Yay!)
Nov. 26, I finally sprung for ``Band of Brothers'' on Blu-ray (Just started...
Just finished watching ``Lost'' Season 4 on Blu-ray yesterday morning at about, oh 4 a.m....was up for the last four hours of my daily viewing session watching all of the extras...great set, dynamite season.
Agreed, sad to say it but I won't buy split seasons from the jack*sses at Rob-amount...if that means they'll never release any further seasons, so be it.
Started watching ``When We Left Earth'' on Blu-ray last night...so far, so good...good picture quality on some of this stuff, pretty amazing for 40-year-old footage...
