Oh, man, I saw these several times as a kid in the 1970-1980s - first in our local library, which every once in a while showed 16mm films for kids, and later on Danish TV. I have been wanting own these myself for a long, long time. Thanks for the heads-up!

Aw, I hoped there was something new about a release when I saw this topic. This is one of my most wanted titles on blu-ray. Maybe next year, since we get The Haunting (another favorite of mine) this year?

The only thing that would get me to upgrade is if part 3 is in real 3D instead of anaglyphic. But I fully expect Warner to re-use the old discs. Would love to be surprised, though.

Can anyone shed a light on the OAR of Frankenheimer's SECONDS? Criterion have announced their upcoming release as 1.75:1 which is the same AR as the old laserdisc. The DVD was 1.85:1 (some sources say 1.78:1). I am aware the difference is negligible. I am more interested in why Paramount...
