Scott Pilgrim vs. The World Press Event Photos, Video and Contest

I haven't seen the movie yet but will probably get the Blu-ray. I started reading the graphic novel last night and it seems really fun and cute.

    Lost: Season 5

We got to see, again, how dishonest and manipulative Ben is. The way he managed to get Caesar to attack Locke so he could shoot him to gain Locke's confidence. The fact that he told every person a different story about why he was doing things. The guy must have a great memory just to keep what...

New Joss Whedon show announced: Dollhouse

Who is the mole inside the Dollhouse? My first thought was that it must be Topher's assistant. She seems to have the technical know how to implant the message to Ballard. But that seems almost too obvious. As I thought about it , I realized that it could be Topher himself. He has the easiest...

    Classic TV series Cliches

How about "The Most Dangerous Game." The hunter who wants the challenge of hunting a human, which is supposed to be more entertaining than hunting animals. This story has been used over and over. It was on The Twilight Zone, Gilligan's Island, Fantasy Island(I think) and most recently on...

    Lost: Season 5

In 1954 Richard Alpert seems to be the Head Other, guy who takes orders from Jacob. When 815 crashes on the island he is no longer in charge but Ben is, and presumably Charles Widmore had this role before him. What I'm wondering is, why did Richard move down a step in the chain of command...

    Best Movie Download Site

Seeing this post made me curious to see how iTunes hd would look on my projector. After checking into it, it seems you can't get the hd content with your computer. HD is only available to Apple TV users. This is very disappointing to me, if anyone knows of a way to get the hd content without...

    Rainbow Effect Overrated?

I think Hanson is correct, your brain gets used to it. Three years ago I got a 46" Samsung DLP and a front projector and could see rainbows on both. It wasn't terrible but every time I watched a movie there would be one or two places where I'd notice it. Now I don't see them at all, even if...

The Sopranos Season 6, Part II - April 2007

The outer space thing was funny but the most hilarious was the whole Tony and Melfi scene. "This is because of that divorce comment" and " I may not be a gynecologist but I know which way the wind blows." And the best part was when he tells her how unethically she is behaving, I laughed out loud...

The Sopranos Season 6, Part II - April 2007

The terrorist subplot is just to show how Tony makes the world a worse place. The agents said they didn't think they were actual terrorists but involved in funding terror. It was through their business dealings with Tony's organization that they got those funds. Tony didn't mention anything...

    Lost season 3 discussion....

A very basic question is why does the DHARMA Initiative continue to drop supplies. After all this time they would have to know that all their people had been killed.

    Lost season 3 discussion....

Why did Juliet wake up IN the submarine? It could be just coincidence that she woke up just as the submarine got to the dock but I don't think so. She didn't wake up in the sub underway and if she was still unconcious when they got there, then there would be no reason not to carry her out so...

The Sopranos Season 6, Part II - April 2007

I thought Bobby was wearing some kind of thin rubber or latex gloves, but he did leave behind that hunk of shirt which would have had his DNA on it from chest hair and sweat. That could come back to get him, but this is the Sopranos where things don't always work that way. I've been waiting...

The Sopranos Season 6, Part II - April 2007

What happened to AJ's construction job? It's pretty hard to get fired from a union job, especially if your father is Tony Soprano. He must have quit himself, so either he's just being "stupid AJ" or the pizza place is a front for some illegal operation and he's moving up in the criminal...

    Lost season 3 discussion....

I think that the numbers were just a red herring and not as vitally important as they were made out to be. The writers/producers had fun putting them in lots of unexpected places in the show but now that the hatch has blown up they are done with them. Maybe they'll come back out of the blue...

    Rome Season II

A few years in Egypt seems to have turned Marc Antony into Keith Richards. I'd just like to agree with others who have said that season 2 is much better than season 1. It's too bad that there is only one episode left, but it's nice to see a show going out at the top of it's game rather than...

    Does anyone have Crank?

I thought Crank was a really fun movie. It has a lot of over the top action and is funny in a VERY dark way. I think it's better if you view it as more of a comedy than an action movie. Jason Stratham is a very likeable actor but The Transporter didn't do much for me.

'BUFFY' & 'ANGEL' S5/S2 DVD Challenge

I'm still watching. These are great seasons of both shows. Angel really hit its stride in season 2. "Shroud of Rahmon" tonight, a really fun episode!
