FORGIVE ME IN ADVANCE- watching the film for the first time- is there SUPPOSED to be (what looks to be) an accidental editing skip at 10min13sec.....? Video right below.
I see.....I think what threw me off when you said 'dark blue' or akin to.....I'm seeing probably somewhere in between those two screenshots, which I'm thinking is [more] correct
Like I said, order online as "In-Store Pick-up".....somehow it will miraculously appear for you to purchase. I had same experience as you mentioned so I tried it and it worked. Wasn't worth the effort...
The whole affair was simply ported from the DVD set they had 12 years ago. All the films look like upconverted DVDs. They didn't spend a dime on making this thing for bluray.
Had the same issue and was looking forward to getting it......I resorted to doing an 'in-store pickup' which worked like a charm..........we're talking an exclusive BB release and the left doesn't know what the right is doing.............that corp. is a sinking ship
wow, Last night I popped this in to see a couple of scenes and sure enough- the bottom left corner of her ascending the stairway (mentioned above) was way off, in a digital sort of way (not just out of focus). I'm hoping theres no other instances of this.
Glad you caught it too!
Good to hear.........incidentally that scene you mention is one of the extended scenes but even if it's limited to just that one instance, very glad to have this in anamorphic after years of waiting.
Question I'm dying to find out--- did they fix the EXTENDED SCENES so they blend seamlessly in with the rest of the film?? On standard dvd, they just reinserted them even though the extended scenes were of extremely poor quality (not to mention wider aspect ratio) and thus took you right out of...
Yeah right......unless you're viewing it on a 12" screen, there's a LOT of room for improvement on this PQ...........it's just more evident now because the audio far surpasses the PQ.
Thanks Mr. Harris, in my opinion it's only your reviews that have really been echoing the voice of the current HD owners. The others seem to go out of their way to remain impartial to BR (for what reason, who knows)
