    Apocalypse Now

Question regarding the Apocalypse Now extras on disc 3. Is there a way to zoom-in on the screenplay pages? I find it difficult to read. I tried hitting what appears to be the "middle" button on the navigation at the bottom, but nothing happens. I am missing something? Thanks.

Blu-ray Review HTF BLU-RAY REVIEW: The Thin Red Line (1998)

Vincent Thanks for confirming the odor. This is a great Criterion Blu-ray. The extras are great. The one tidbit I found fascinating is that Malick would sometimes have the actors do the scene as written, with dialogue, and then later that day, do the same scene again, but this time with no...

Blu-ray Review HTF BLU-RAY REVIEW: The Thin Red Line (1998)

    Army of Shadows

Jean-Pierre Melville's "Army of Shadows" ended up on a variety of "Best of 2006" lists. (See latest issue of Film Comment) I saw it twice in a theater in 2006 and I'm wondering when it will be released on DVD in Region 1. Is Criterion planning on releasing it?

    Kubrick 16:9

During the discussion Warners mentioned that the new Kubrick SE discs will be released in 16:9, which I am extremely grateful. Then they mentioned that the aspect ratio will be 1.77. I'm wondering why they chose that ratio, when in at least two books (The Stanley Kubrick Archives being one)...
