    Is Commercial Television Dying?

Another thing to note is that TV and films are running out of ideas. Remakes are at an all time high, so are good and some are not. I will always take a chance on something original...the only exception was Friday Night Lights, loved the movie and had to see the show, glad I did.

    Exclusive Bonus Materials

Ebay....that is what I do. You can usually find stuff like that for a reasonable price. For instance, the South Park original pitch pilot was a Best Buy exclusive years ago. I got one for $20 earlier this week. So I guess it depends on how much you want something and if you will pay for it or not.

    Is Commercial Television Dying?

I think one of the main reasons commercial TV is suffering is canceling things to quickly. Today's audience wants quick answers and not having to think too much, hence why CSI and reality TV are so popular. So when a good serialized some comes along, most people don't watch it. Also, the...

Friday Night Lights Season 1 Music Edits

I bought the season set yesterday, but I still wonder about the edits. Although I might take some heat for this, I had downloaded the whole season prior to buying the DVD. I suppose I could compare the two. Either way, I am not going to catch things since I missed the original airings, but as...

Friday Night Lights Season 1 Music Edits

Hello all, I recently went to buy Friday Night Lights s1 and there was a music disclaimer on the back. I didn't see this during the broadcast run so I have no idea what changed. So I complied a list of the songs in the episodes I got from TV.com and wanted to see if anyone can point out a...

"The Fugitive" (1963): Season 1; Volume 1 Rumored To Be In The Works!

I like them too. The big boxes are hard to manage, at least for me. I have no problem with multiple disc Amaray cases.

"The Fugitive" (1963): Season 1; Volume 1 Rumored To Be In The Works!

I have to agree with a lot of you, the grain adds to atmosphere (remember what that is...these damn youngin's today, oh wait, that's me!). The only time grain gets in the way is when you are meant to see something with specific detail and then can't. Outside of that, grain is fine. If King Kong...

"The Fugitive" (1963): Season 1; Volume 1 Rumored To Be In The Works!

Sorry for the double post, and this technically isn't related to the DVD, but what did ya'll think about the Fugitive series with Tim Daly? Personally, having never seen the original, I liked it. I dug the movie too. So hopefully I will dig this series too.

"The Fugitive" (1963): Season 1; Volume 1 Rumored To Be In The Works!

You guys are awesome! Thanks for answering my question(s). I picked up two copies today (one for me and one for Grandma, she loves it and it gives her something to do since she can't get around a lot). Believe it or not, a lot of people frown when I ask these questions (not here since this was...

Hawaii Five-O - Any Interest Out There?

So aside from the missing episode (tragic) and the changed credits (not so tragic), the rest of the set is intact? If that is the case, then I will probably buy this one. After seeing that on the box I put it back in disgust.

"The Fugitive" (1963): Season 1; Volume 1 Rumored To Be In The Works!

Hi everyone. Long time reader first time poster. I have been reading all 14 pages here (bored at work today...) it this seems like it will be pretty cool. But I am a little unsure if I should buy it. I don't mind the edits to the opening, that is accetable. But if music was changed, that will...
