I have the Arrow disc but it's the first edition where there is a missing scene and my disc was never replaced. So, I just purchased this MGM disc hoping the referred missing scene is included in the disc.
Maybe Three Little Words is already done and just waiting in the pipeline to be released. Hopefully they are also working on the Barkleys of Broadway.
And I would also love some Jane Powell, specially A Date with Judy, Two weeks with love and Nancy goes to Rio.
Another strong month for WAC.
Broadway Melody release gives me hope for the 1936 and 1938 entries in the future.
Also Du Barry makes me very happy as an early 40’s 3 strip technicolor feature. Maybe this opens the doors for the likes of Blossoms in the Dust, Northwest Passage, Thousands...
Not true. Kiss me Kate, Mutiny on the bounty and Meet me in St Louis are just 3 examples of titles first released on Bluray by WHV and that ended up being on the Archives collection.
I love Jane Powell too, but among her films I rater have A Date with Judy, Nancy Goes to Rio, Two Weeks with Love and, of course, Royal Wedding. Would not complain about any of the ones you listed, though.
You nailed my most wanted titles for Esther and Crawford. And, for Gable, I would add...
It is important to know if these HD transfers are brand new transfers that meet the same high quality standards of WAC. The transfers for The Two Mrs. Carrolls that aired on HBO Max last year, for instance, had debris and speckles and was not fit for a WAC Bluray. On the other hand, it was...
Wonderful lineup! All of them will be Day One for me!!! Thanks Mr. Felteinstein!
Most excited about Camille and Neptune's Daughter.
I read before here that both Flamingo Road and Confessions were available at TCM / HBO Max in new pristine masters, so here we have them. This must be a sing that...
I think a few exceptions remained with Paramount.

Mr. Insider,

- Take a Letter Darling

Wonderful news! Kino's Universal releases are phenomenal!!! So glad most of the tiltes are from Hollywood golden age!
I do not know if we are allowed to ask for any hints, but usually you allow some questions whenever a new deal is announced. So here I am...
May we expect any titles directed by...
This is the movie I have been couting the days to have on Blu, since George Feltenstein informed on one of the WAC podcasts they had something starring Astaire and Powell in the works. I knew it had to be that movie and having it submitted to the WAC treatment is simply a dream come true.
My 20 most wanted from MGM:
Red Dust
Camille
The Great Ziegfeld
Maytime
Test Pilot
Marie Antoinette
Goodbye, Mr. Chips
Broadway Melody of 1940
Boom Town
A Woman's Face
Ziegfeld Girl
Johnny Eager
Random Harvest
The Human Comedy
Bathing Beauty
The Three Musketeers
Words and Music
A Date with Judy...
The 1936 version of The Three Godfathers is now being listed under the banner Remastered Classics on HBO Max. This makes total sense as the transfer was beautiful in my opinion. Therefore, another candidate for a future WAC release.
This is truly incredible news specially because this one already has a HD master and WAC usually do not select titles that are have HD masters. San Francisco and Baby Doll are exceptions to these rule.
So I can start dreaming about having The Great Ziegfeld, A Woman’s Face, Boom Town, the...
