Ok, my source is a Sony NSP1 Network Media Player for Digital Signage. It's output options are pretty crappy, supporting only 640x480(VGA), 848x480(WVGA), 800x600(SVGA), 1024x768(XGA). Our target is multiple widescreen professional monitors currently via a RGB video splitter. I wish it...
Hello, I'm not quite sure where to post this thread, but I know you are all pretty smart. I'm looking for a a device(s) that will allow a wired RGB (coming from a PC-like device) that currently plugs into a Monitor..to become wireless. The output resolution is 848x480 (and can't be...
Hello, I came across a post quite a while ago (within 9 months) in these forums that had a single image that showed size comparisons of all TV formats. The picture was very simple, with boxes growing out of the top left corner...each increase in size represented the different format...
I did a quick search, and I don't think the PFM42V1 has a cable tuner built in. It is the cable tuner that will allow you to watch basic cable. You might be able to find a VCR that can connect to your TV...with the VCR doing the channel changing?
Although I don't have a projector, I've been reading on the forums here for a while and many members feel building your own screen is often well worth the trouble. I you already have a white wall, the cost is nothing...and can go up to a gallon or two of paint. If you don't like the painted...
I ran audio from the TV to my Receiver when my plain cable went straight to the TV (as my receiver didn't have the proper coax termination) and I still wanted TV sound (stereo) to play on my receiver.
The application is for digital signage, and could easily run 1-500 feet. We are in control of the content and I doubt there will be Hi-Def resolutions involved at the beginning. But since there may be, a DVI-I run might be the smartest way to go.
Hello, In preperation for a new project, I was wondering what the minimum recommended length for a video cable run is (for various cables). The 'box' that we are using to send the video has BNC output for composite,s-video and component, with a DVI-I output. If we were to exceed the...
Depending on your preferences & skil, you may also find that building your own rack may be preferred. You could build the shelves to fit your components & airflow, and having it look the way you want. If I were in your place, I would also go with the panel from the back room to access your...
Thanks for the info, but I have to ask a bit more, You say I need a CL-2 or CL-3 rating for going in-wall for the rear speakers. Is there a reason I need a rated cable? I plan on having all my wires from the speakers go into the wall, down under the existing flooring, then back up to where...
Hi, While this is one of my first posts, I have read quite a bit on these forums and have learned quite a bit. My question today is this: I recently bought my first house, and need a lot of speaker wire. My dad has access to a lot of 12ga automotive wire and he believes it would be a good...
