I doubt we will even see a release of season two. A whole bunch of people aren't buying the show just because it is missing a minute or two. I don't like syndicated cuts either, but we are never going to see another release until those people start buying season one sets.
Fantasy Island (Sony is so unpredictible. The second season could be announced tomorrow or in a year.) Green Acres (Not sure about this series, hopefully something will be announced soon) Joey (I'm guessing, because Warner usually only waits 4-5 months inbetween releases) Knots Landing...
I also hate the french lettering on the packaging. I don't mind if the complete series has it, but I hate when they switch half way through. I'll be ordering my Simpsons set from Amazon.com
Hi Gord, this afternoon I went to Future Shop and bought the set for $85.99 plus tax. Oh well, it has alot of material. You're review was excellent by the way and thanks for the tip.
They are probably clearing music. Remember all the music that was missing from Season One? They are probably trying to get all the music in this time. ChrisRose, Disney doesn't usually edit their movies they just couldn't afford the music. Just like Sony, Warner Brothers and pretty much every...
Thanks for the update. I was the one who asked about Jane Wyman and what she was up too, thanks for the response. Hopefully the DVD will be out in 2007!
Yes, that one is from Season 1. In the Eunice movie, Ken Berry has a moustache. The picture next to that one isn't from Season 1, notice Naomi's hair isn't straight like it was in Season 1 or 2.

I think it will sell very good for the first release, but might slow down for Season 2. Alot of people prefer the Bubba / Iola years, I do. I think they are more funny. Rumor has it there ARE commentaries on this set.
Yes, maybe. Maybe Paramount owns it because they are the ones behind The Carol Burnett Show. Still, they could have included commentaries or a featurette of some sort.
Where the HELL are the bonus features! Good Lord! I'm sure Vicki Lawrence would LOVE to do commentaries, she even took her Mama's character on the road! And wheres Eunice?
