No. 3 inch clearance for the receiver( Im trying to get a fan set up for it) However a Digital Motorola Cable box rests on top of the Oppo. It doesnt get to hot.

There is only about 3 inches clearance above the receiver, the back of the console shelf is open. I could probaly get 5 inches if placed on the top shelf. Its a 3 tier glass monitor console.
