This may be a stupid question but I just got a Samsung LED TV and it has a power cord that plugs in to the back of the TV and then you plug the other end into the wall outlet, My question is does it matter which way you plug the power cord into the back of the TV cause you can either plug it in...
Dark Horse only did a re- adaptation of the 1997 Special Edition of A New Hope, They republished Marvel's adaptations of Empire & Jedi though. Marvel's adaptation of A New Hope is the better version, Dark Horse's has too many scenes missing from it.
Lately I've been enjoying the Marvel Comics Adaptations of the Original Trilogy more then the new 'altered' Blu-ray versions. I can't wait for the new Star Wars comic series from Marvel next year. :thumbs-up-smiley:
If I remember right my 1995 VHS widescreen editions (the one with the 3 Faces covers) The overall color temperture of all three movies looked warmer. The 2004 and 2011 versions have a more cooler color temperature Why?
Back in 2008 Star Wars the Clone Wars film (2008) was released on DVD & Blu-ray with a lenticular slipcover that showed Anakin and Asajj Ventress, Did all the Blu-ray versions have the lenticular cover? I've read on the net that some did while others did not include a slipcover.
I've just entered the HD World and purchased a Samsung 32inch 1080P LED TV and Blu-ray player, My parents have had a 46inch LED TV for a few years now and this is my first HD TV I've had in my bedroom. I'm wondering about HDMI cables, first I was looking at this HDMI cable-...
Is the Blu-ray version of Star Wars:The Clone Wars (movie,2008) out of print? I've checked Walmart.com Best Buy.com & Amazon.com themselves (not including 3rd party sellers) and they don't have the Blu-ray version available but they do have the DVD version for sale.
Two scenes from the Attack of the clones Blu-ray (the Anakin & Obi-Wan Coruscant speeder chase & the end of the Yoda/Dooku fight have been re-edited in a different sequence, heres a link to some pics scroll down to the Attack of the Clones section of the page-...
If I purchase DVD or Blu-ray movies online I usually get them from Walmart.com but I'm thinking about buying some Blu-rays from Amazon.com and I noticed that along with Amazon themselfs 3rd party Marketplace sellers are also offering movies either new or used, I myself would not feel comfortable...
If we get new transfers of all 6 films I hope they do something to A New Hope to make the picture brighter. yesterday I watched the original version of Episode 4 and after it was over I watched the 2004 DVD edition of A New Hope, It was definitely clearer then the original version but the image...
Today I bought extra copys of The Limited Edition DVD sets thinking if the 30th anniversey box set is released it probably won't include the original versions of Episodes 4,5 and 6.
Why is the DVD version of A New Hope (and also the 1997 VHS Special Edition release) a lot more darker in terms of picture contrast to the original releases on VHS and the current limited edition DVD which have a brighter picture contrast.
Hopefully we'll get a new transfer of Episode 1 included in this rumored 30th anniversy DVD box set later this year. Speaking of the 30th anniversy set has anyone confirmed that the Lego booklet that stated in german that there was going to be some kind of DVD set in 2007 is authentic?
TheForce.net is reporting that Jim Ward may have hinted at some kind of promotion where there will be sleeves that hold all 3 Prequel DVDs. I wonder which store will be having this promotion?
I called the Fox Home Entertaiment consumer line and asked then about all theses re-releases heres what I was told. The Star Wars Trilogy 4-disc set is indeed being re-released on November 1st along with the Episodes 1 and 2 DVDs. On December 6th their releaseing the Star Wars Trilogy 3-disc...
From The Digital Bits, 8/9/05:
Is this still going to happen although a new 3-disc only Original Trilogy box set is coming out this December?
