still no word i can find on any site if the Original Mono track preserves the choir passages as it was meant to be
the CD i grabbed a few years back of BP’s score was incredible
gee i’m seeing tonnes of scratched warner archive discs coming out of mexico. it’s pathetic so i’ve given up on this label unless their is an equivalent release from warner archive UK
as I sometimes do with Criterion USA, Warner Archive and Kino titles, this time i bought 4 copies to get one that wasn't scratched - 3 were mint and 1 was scratched - and one was packed by the night shift. Criterion England releases are pressed at Sony Europe so never disappoint. On Occasion ...
i think it was more involved than that, i did it years ago but i don’t remember the sequence of button pushes for the hard reset. it’s either on avsforum or bluraydotcom
ON THE OTHER FORUM similar problems were fixed by doing a ""reset""on oppo 203 and 205 . Something to do with the latest Oppo firmware and certain Dolby vision discs . From memory youll find the details on the Oppo 203 thread at Bd.com
i pre ordered mine. took about 20 days to get from spain to australia. often amazon will block titles for international delivery after street date, presumably some deal they have with low life 3rd party scalpers
amazon spain seems to have sold out, or amazon has sold there stock to third party scalpers
i’m seeing that amazon italy still has stock for 24 Euros
im happy to pay extra for a scratch free , glitch free disc
yes 5.1 lossless english audio tracks included. it’s the same disc as the american just pressed by sony themselves rather than technicolor mexico
and as u know only the original theatrical version has the original mono
the menu is in default of English...
the spanish amazon version is magnificent - pressed st Sony Europe by people who care. (ifpi code 94)
superb hardcoat, no scratches , no glitches , best glass masters , best resins that never bronze
why torture yourself with mexican quality control
