i garantee you a dust particle floating past the front of the speaker while watching a movie would make just as much difference. the room is so full of reverberations and discrepencies that even my TWO dented tweeters... i still can't tell them apart. (and my mine are far worst then...
i veneer 1 cm corners everyday. i soak the corner in warm water for about 30 seconds and it wraps easy. 5mm.. no problem, 3 maybe if your carefull. just use good glue and be carefull. dont touch the wet part of the wood and let it dry before pressing in good. like the other guys said...
i dont know about you guys but... i've allways had a specific idea of what makes a good ht or a good music speaker. funny, because EVERYTHING is subjective. as this thread proves. for example. a good music speaker (for me) would be a ribbon, mid-tweet, two-mid, and three woofers...
to be honest with you... from my experience, nothing beats a good crt for gaming. i've seen lcds and dlps on playstation (so i can only imagine xbox) and seems crt's have better color, are crisper and most all smoooooother. if you do alot of gaming id be worried about burn in with the flat...
i'm pretty sure there are sounds cards that have a opt. out for audio. and most decent cards nowadays have 5.1. so... maybe you should look into a newer card if sound quality is issue.
i can't think of any one reason why you shouldn't be able to use a passive radiator in a car other than perhaps car movement moving the cone in ways you wouldn't want. i'm thinking way out there that maybe the resonance of the car could induce unwanted vibrations in a cone that isn't...
i would say thats within context of an average soon to be newcomer to the home theater world. i seen a medium in that text of about 1000-1500 for a first purchase of a dedicated hometheater. it outlined the basics. what the buyer should be looking for in order to make a long term...
arent they merging both technologies? i understand that the big 4 are at the tables now negotiating contracts and such to come up with a new disc that will incorporate both technologies. this has been in the works for a long time now and its one reason why neither technology has been...
i just read through about 50% of those pages... wow. makes ya want to becomes an electrical engineer just for the sheer hell of it. and building crossovers of course :) so.... it looks like they did in fact fixed some o the subs but some still blew. they are only replacing blown...
i've had the same amp for 2.5 years with extensive use. runs like new. all i do is turn the sub on with the switch and turn it off once i'm done. simple as that.
i wish i could post url's. BUT! Theres a quebec distributor here that has awsome prices and great delivery. Their name is "Solen" and they distribute components from all over the world. if you look at the bottom of the page you'll find a complete price guide on all of that particular...
personally. i would wait. actually.. since you bought a new dvd player last year... id wait not till next year.. but the year after to purchase second gen players or first gen at better prices. by then... there will be: more selection on cables, players and compatible components...
watched the trailer. sounds good. i'm hoping the dubbing over doesn't kill the sounds effects like 99% of all other anime tranlations (why i watch with subtitles) looks good. tried posting a url... but wasn't aloud. so... google "sky blue". you'll come up with the site.
yeah actually i had the same thing happen to me. i blew a tweeter and brought them into a shop to order and replace both tweeters (yeah... could have done it myself. whatever.) so. while they were away getting fixed i bought a new harmon/kardon. got the speakers, they sounded great...
actually those kinds of speakers are perfect for the room where its only gonna be two channel stereo (kitchen, garage, bathroom.) paired up with a nice warm amp... they can sounds amazing if set up right. like some said. live jazz and strings is where these speakers shine. i would probalby...
my guess would be just overall better component specs, tolerances, and higher quality manufacturing. maybe something to do with digital processing also. with computers these days, the chips used make a big difference in the end sound.
try to be a little more specific with your details. what processing mode are you using? which harmon/kardon component are you using? and what media? movies or general 2 channel music? so far its sounds like your listening to a mono signal in dolby pro-logic 2. also i find that even...
Just alot of bad experiences with their company. When i was younger, living in a small northern ontario town, i had the only option of ordering and building my stereo from them. 90% of their product is mass manufactured and rebadged; Optimus, rca, and their proprietary brand. The money paid...
Any reputable audio component manufacter will do. Get the shortest cable you can and keep it away from all power sources... No kinks and just keep it clean. pls, pls, pls, dont go to radio shack. not unless you plan on building a premium, top of the line AM whatchamakalit. even...
from what i can understand is that your sounds channel would ahve to go from your dvr--->tv--->and back to your tv in order for you keep your receiver on opt1 and not have to switch between the two. I looked online at the manual and wasn't clear enough to tell if your tv has a universal audio...
