thanks guys, problem is being worked on!

all 4 major network hd channels are down on direct tv, since monday, i called them and they said the whole country is out but I cant imagine that anybody else? any status?

Mine down since monday, I called and I thought they said the whole country is experiencing this, i dont see anything here about it, anybody else? this is the 4 major networks only, rest of them are OK, but all network hd programming is gone... anybody have any info on it? over 2 days now...

Anyone else have this problem? I called them on Monday when it happened and they say they are working on it I am real curious to know if anyone else has info?

besides Starz, what else would one expect or hope to see on DirectTV HD in the near future? or what, specifically do they not have now

i tivo'd and I dont think so...maybe edtv, not sure what the options are what is SD? have seen spiderman 2 in hidef on hbo and there was a difference, I think

exciting stuff, saw some 1080 p pics the other day at my dealer...he had a DVD with 1080 p stuff on it wow!

so the mpeg 4 is to conserve bandwidth, not to introduce more channels, or to make it easier to introduce them later ?? i ask about the cost of the equipment, truth is, dont matter, have to have it, like a drug, pay whatever it cost :D

Regards BURN IN on PIONEER elite I have a 10 month old Pioneer Elite 50 inch and so far no burn in, but I am careful and dont play video games... there is an Orbiter button on my tv and i have that switched to on I have been told that is to address burn in, DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW ABOUT...

today when TNT HD was added? All of my CBS Season Passes were messed up (i have king of queens and so on all on Season Pass) they were still showing as active season passes but the next two weeks of shows, all of CBS shows were not going to be recorded...glad I caught it anyone have this...

I just put a 32 inch Sharp Aquos LCD in my bedroom with HDTV signal and it is the best pic I have ever seen. I dont know if you wanna go LCD or not, but if you do, Sharp is the best I have seen!
