I am considering a Denon 2805 or 3805 receiver. Can these be run in a 6.1 mode? In other words, is it ok to hook up a single speaker to either the R or L rear surround channel and leave the other channel empty? Thanks, Josh

Has anyone ran the TX-SR800 in a 6.1 configuration. Does anyone know if it can be done. I want to use this receiver in a dedicated HT room. The room is narrow for its length (12x28) so I think a 6.1 would do better than a 7.1. FYI all rear speakers will be in ceiling speakers. Thanks, Josh
