Well I read earlier today at www.zap2it.com that HBO has passed on renewing "The Comeback" for another year. I wonder if this show will be released on dvd? Seems very possible to me, as most HBO shows make it to dvd.
YESS!!! Finally a good announcement :D This has just made my day, ever since I read that story I have had the theme song going on and on in my head lol. Hopefully sooner or later we will also see its spin-off "Just The Ten Of Us".
Now we are getting Jeopardy?!?!?!?! Whats wrong with this picture? Ahhh, ya know what the sad thing is that I'll prolly pick the dvd up for my dad for christmas as he was a huge Ken Jennings fan. lol.
I would check with ebay....the only thing about that would be that you might have to buy in bulk or something....You might try FYE, they seem to carry alot of different replacement storage stuff.
I'll agree with you Johnny, for some reason I think Joey season 1 will be released before the end of the year, possibly around Christimas time. Also, I think that we will see Simpsons season 7.
Of course I gotta throw in my two cents.... 1. Cheers Season 6 2. Cheers Season 7 3. Friends Season 10 4. Bewitched Season 2 5. Charmed Season 2 and 3 5. Third Rock From The Sun Season 2 6. Desperate Housewives 7. Point Pleasant
oh yeah the comeback would be great and im relativly sure that will be released in the near future as most HBO shows make their way to dvd pretty quickly.
I honestly dont think NBC could do without Joey on the schedule now even though the ratings arent what they should be, the show is still one of the highest rated on the network, and with Will & Grace ending this year, Joey is really in a good position to last a few years.
Personally 2005 has been a great year so far. So far in 2005 I have bought: Popular Season 2 3rd Rock Season 1 Cheers Season 4 and 5 Friends Season 9 I Love Lucy Season 4 I Love Lucy Season 5 Charmed Season 1 Fat Actress Season 1 Bewitched Season 1 God The Devil and Bob The Complete...
Of course I have some shows to add to this list. Jesse aired on NBC Thuresday nights from 1998-2000. Starring Christina Applegate. Just The Ten Of Us aired on ABC Friday nights from 1988-1990. Spin-off of Growing Pains. Its Like, You Know... aired on ABC Wednesday nights from 1999-2000...
Yeah, I guess it all comes down to the all-mighty dollar. Even though I think that in the long run studios would do better to release scripted television series....
YES !!!!Growing Pains is a Timeless classic for me. :emoji_thumbsup: The show was an icon for people of my generation. I mean heck, you don't get seven seasons on a major network for nothing.
Is it just me or is alot of television series you never dreamed to be released on dvd being brought out? I mean come on people here we get on this site begging for timeless classics to be released and what is this? I went to the tvshowsondvd website and Extreme Makeover Home Edition is getting a...
Up until this point I have purchased most of my tv-dvds at either Wal-Mart, Ebay or F.Y.E. But since I have been checking DeepDiscountDvd's prices, I am starting to see you cant beat them. But like someone else said before, when you go to a store you can pick out the best package, because you...
Just a little clarification on my schedule....some of my shows that I put on there are not commercially produced (YET) These are shows that I have transferred from origional broadcast taped VHS's to dvd.
Third Rock From The Sun -- Season 1
The Flintstones -- Season 2
Futurama -- Season 1
Futurama -- Season 2
Greg The Bunny -- The Complete Series
--------------------ORDERED--------------------
Will & Grace -- Season 2
Scooby Doo -- Season 1 and 2
Yeah Fox seems to take care of short lived series better, like Wonderfalls and God, The Devil and Bob for example (each produced 13 episodes). I would like to see Fox dig a little deeper into their vault tho, maybe parker lewis cant lose and Get Real next? As for warner brothers, I think...
SONY GRRRRRRR. If the studio didn't own rights to half of the good television shows that I am a fan of I would boycott them. I am disgusted at their practice of releasing one or two seasons of a show and then with total disreguard to anyone but their billfold....abandoning the series and its fans.
yeah i really dont have nothing new to state in this thread im just giving it a bump so people will sign the petitions lol. my Jesse vhs tapes are on their last legs haha.
Has anyone heard anything concerning this show making its way to dvd once this season is completed? If you haven't checked it out yet, do so. Its really great.
