It's interesting, the BR and 4K releases of season 1 of this show have been discussed to death, but interestingly, there doesn't seem to be a discussion about the actual TV series as it is ongoing.
Episode 4 of season 2 dropped tonight, and this season has stuck closer to game lore than the...
This new Australian show produced by Stan is available on Amazon Prime in Canada and apparently via Peacock in the US.
It features Josh Gad as a widower with an 11yo daughter named Emma (played by Ariel Donoghue) who is beset by panic attacks. They have a chance collision (literally) with a...
Starting a thread for season two...
@Philip Verdieck posted this link to a review in the old Season 1 thread:

There's a nice 3 minute recap of season 1. I remembered everything in it, but it was nice to...
Didn't see a thread about this anywhere, but the first episode aired the other day on CTV's SciFi channel here in Canada and SyFy in the US and I wanted to see if anyone else had watched it, and if so... what they thought.
It's based on a a Dark Horse comic book by Peter Hogan and Steve...
New show with Nick Frost, Samson Kayo, Emma D'Arcy, Simon Pegg, and Malcolm McDowell on Amazon Prime. "Horror comedy" 8 episode series created and written by Frost, Pegg, James Serafinowicz and Nat Saunders.
Ghost hunter with actual paranormal incidents with Frost playing the typical Pegg role...
I just discovered this series on Apple TV+ a couple of weeks ago through my 10yo daughter. She'd seen a trailer for it on YouTube.
It's loosely based on the true story of Hilde Lysiak, a (in the telling of the story) 9yo girl in grade 4 who is a journalist. She and her family move back to her...
I don't mind seeing and getting ads on HTF, but over the last 2-3 visits, I keep getting video ads with fairly loud sound on them. Is there much by way of ad limiting that is being done by staff, or is it a "what comes, comes" mix of things?
Well, this one got picked up for season 2, looks like another 10 episode season. Apparently it started airing last night, with a repeat airing coming Friday. It's not clear if it was a single episode that aired, or two episodes (IMDB suggests that it was a 2-episode premiere).
So, as noted in the season 1 thread, season 2 started this past Sunday on A&E.
I've finally had a chance to watch the opener today. Not too bad, picks up more or less where things left off last season. One big change (thus far) is dropping the back-story voiceover in the credits...
So, Monday night featured another new CBS show -- one of my friends recommended it to me (seeing that I'm a Tyler Labine fan) -- Mad Love. This is Jason Biggs' return (yes, he of American Pie) to television, and seems to be quite rather similar to How I Met Your Mother, except that he (Ben)...
I didn't see a thread for this show (even after 3-4 different search attempts), so I thought that I'd start one... Perry plays the sports arena manager for the Sunshine Center in San Diego, Ben Donovan. He's just hit his 40th birthday and is going through a mid-life crisis while trying to...
I totally forgot that this was on tonight until channel surfing looking for something to watch before Criminal Minds. So far, not so bad. Although the wrap up on the end of last season was a bit... brief.
Caught this premiere last night having heard almost nothing about the show beforehand. I guess that Barnes & Noble in the US had some freebie promotion with the script from the first episode leading up to things.
Anyhow -- A&E showed this with limited ads last night for the 10pm ET...
A day less than a year after season 3 kicked off, Burn Notice season 4 kicks off tomorrow night (June 3) on USA again. Season 3 closed with Michael capturing Simon, Management telling Michael that he has a big future, and Michael waking up in a mysterious (yet luxurious) room. Some...
So, like a number of people here, I'd heard tell of the basic story of the Marshall football team back in the early 1970s (well, hell, 1970 I guess), but didn't know too many details. Like a number of people, when I heard that McG was directing the story... I was... apprehensive. Saw it at...
From TVShowsOnDVD at http://www.tvshowsondvd.com/newsitem.cfm?NewsID=5263 you can now vote for the cover of the upcoming Brisco County on DVD, just like the Rescue Me cover. Personally, I like the layout of the left one (for me) with the big head and the background from it, but the picture...
I came across this box set in a local HMV yesterday, and since I've not gotten around to picking up the three movies in said same 'trilogy', I was wondering if the discs in this set were the special edition/anamorphic/blah blah blah versions that are currently available or if they were slimmed...
We've managed to get Red Dwarf, the Dr Who stuff, the Office, Vicar of Dibley, Blackadder, and other such wonderful British series over here on DVD... what about Spaced? It was a fantastic series (I've only seen the first 4 episodes or so) and featured the guys from Shaun of the Dead. Also...
