I have a friend who is extremely annoyed by this; even to the point of considering just getting the illegal "sets" of each season. At the rate this are releasing this, it should all be out on DVD just 10 years before the Earth crashes into the sun. Which will one billion years after...
I LOVE "The Norm Show" and the announcement was great news to me, and a fellow family member.
Too bad I don't down a TV and I live in my car, but if that was not that way and I had money to blow, this would be a "priority".
Nash was a show, to me, where the songs weren't intricate, or part of the "mood". They tried to get it to work like "Miami vice" with the song use, but it just never clicked that way.
Only song I remotely thought worked, was the Sinner man song that opened(?) an episode.
From Season...
Worth a shot ... I've been compilling a list of the composer on each episode of the series and was wondering anybody with DVDs or recordings can help. Here is the list as it currently stands:

No, no -- after releasing all the previous seasons, getting sales and requests out the wazzu for new episodes, caving and making direct-to-DVD moives, and re-viving the show from the dead ... FOX plans to STOP RIGHT THERE and NEVER MAKE ANOTHER DVD RELEASE AGAIN. (heavy sarcasm)
I have been compilling a list of the composer for each episode of the series and I am almost done. I have spent nearly a year doing it via re-runs (when I could catch them -- always aired when I was in bed!) and YouTube videos. I am hoping kind fans will help finished off these remainders: ...
"Due South" with it's piss-poor (reportedly described as YouTube having better qaulity...) picture qaulity. Even the Canadian release looks better, I read, but still is poor. "ALF" because it was made of edited syndication re-runs, and not the original uncut runs. "Batman...
I don't know if anybody would be willing to help out, but:
I have been compilling a list of the composer for each episode of the series:

I still have nine episodes from season 1 not solved, so if anybody here is so kind and have this set...
Thank...
"In the Heat of the Night"
"The Wonder Years"
"Batman" (60's Adam West)
And a personal absolute favorite comedy show, "The Norm Show". Hilarious, ran for three or four seasons, but suffered from piss poor advertisement on the part of ABC, and lack of them caring about the show. Shows that...
Wondering if any fans here who might have taped episodes or have access to some, cna help. I am trying to compile a list of the composer for each episode of the seires. Thus far I have done about 93% of the whole series, but still ahve some unsolved. Anybody help? Here is the list thus far...
If anybody can help...
I am trying to compile a list of the composer for each episode of the series -- a difficult task for this series, so far. Here is what I got:

I enjoyed this series when it was on hte air. Watched nearly every episode. I'd buy a DVD release.
As far as I know, the only thing released was the pilot on VHS years ago.
On my continuous help for various TV from the fans, I am hoping fans of this series can help; I am trying to compile a list of the composer for each episode of the series. Here is what I ahve so far:

Maybe some of you can help; anybody who might have taped it off TV, I am trying to compile a list of the compsoer for each episode of the series. Here is what I got so far (not much):

Score for score, nobody beats Jerry Goldsmith Second place would go to James Horner, with Barry & Williams probably tieing for 4th. I haven't heard enough Morricone to give him a place yet, but when you write something like "the Mission", you're a genius.
BAD idea. Especially since a number of high speed internet providers (what you would need to get high qaulity loads and at a speed fast enough to make it worht the time) hare putting bandwidth caps on their service. For those who don't know, when you go over your allotted bandwidth cap, they...
Elia Cmiral (who compsed msot of the Season 1 -- if not all of -- scores) I believe did the first instrumental theme. Eddie Jobson did two themes for the show, then did the song which Bib provided vocals for. I don't think the song kicks in until middle/late season 2. Velton Ray Bunch...
On suggestion from another member (from November last year) in my original post, I am posting here. Here is my project:
I've changed my the page to the list, so here is the new list: http://www.tvshows.150m.com/Gunsmoke.html (old page: Gunsmoke Composers: The Ultimate Guide to the Music...
The majority of the remaining original fanbase will be long dead by the time they are done releasing the series. I asked somewhere else if certain episodes or seasons even exist anymore and the reply I got was:
No, not commercial movies. Just various little bits here and there I recorded off TV; unreleased comedy performances, parts of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?", interviews with favorite comedians (etc), stuff like that.
I was wondering if you all could make some suggestions on good units. Here is what I am hoping to do with VHS material converted to DVD: Chapters and If possible move around material before burning.
One of my favorite TV shows. The series wnet threw some changes after the first season, dropping some characters, replacing the score composer (from Elia Cmiral to Eddie Jobson [who also did the theme song]) and changed tone somewhat. When it first started, it was a little more in line with...
I found this review on Amazon.com for the U.S. "Ultimate collection" set:
Is the Canadian release any better, or are there any plans for a better set? If it's as bad as the review says, I'll stick with free YouTube and other sites, rather than pay for really bad qaulity.
When was the last time any of these stations ran a cartoon worth watching? Bad plots, more childish than needed anything, lousey synthasized scores, poor writing and voicing talent, and often no moral center.
The horrible story is the studio threw a bunch of masters in the garbage, and one of the things they threw away were the masters to Maurice Jarre's score -- a fact lost upon them, as I understand, until one day a few years back when they could not find them for DVD.
Jarre got the notice too...
Sorry, but that's incorrect; you don't know how to read IMDB correctly. Stu Goldberg did "additional score", and for some episodes. He was never a main composer, and the show had over a dozen composers, and he's not credited for any specific episode on IMDB. If you re-read the page for "No...
