Question for B&w 603 owners that have wood floors. My speakers only came with metal spikes, but I don't want to scratch/puncture my newly refinished oak floors. Is there something anyone uses that can screw in, in place of the spikes, or to cover them to protect the floors? Thanks.

Check to make sure you don't have speaker shorts anywhere (frayed wires touching each other, etc.) That is the most common cause when that happens.
