The 2db that I refered to is what the reciever says when i raise the volume for that speaker. They all start out at 0db then you can increase or decrease each individual speaker +-10db. I guess its just a reference point or volume level.

My right rear surround speaker is lower than the rest. I confirmed that it is the reciever (onkyo DR-C500). I have to raise the volume on that one 2db higher than the rest. Do most people have variations that are this much, or is this out of the ordinary? Thanks, Gerry
