My standard dvd of Apocalypse Now I was under the impression the AR was 2.00:1 but my BluRay states on the rear cover - 2.35:1 .
which is correct for the home theater BD/DVD versions? I'm pretty sure the Theatrical prints from 1978 was 2.00:1 but with the 'branching' ( minutes)...
I have problems remembering what day of the week I even saw this in the theatre.. yet alone remembering the dialogue compared to mulitple viewings at home .. your best bet is to find the screenplay on line ..
hooray... finally came today .!! .... one little complaint I have is the back menu lists the discs in order as : Blue Ray theatrical disc #1 / Blue Ray Roadshow Disc#2 / Standard DVD theatrical/ Standard DVD Extended / and Disc # 5 as bonus .. but the discs located in the five page gateway fold...

another thing to keep in mind about these water tower Scenes .. is.. the Year before in another MGM movie- How The West Was Won.., they had a problem with their water tower scene as well..
