I agree with usrunnr's idea of donating them to a library or charity. However, there's no need to wait until after you've "departed" if we're talking about duplicates and older versions that you know you'll never watch again. Make the donation now, and claim it as a charitable tax deduction...
I voted 'No". I'm with the OP - I strongly dislike it.
Are there really good movies that have used this technique? Absolutely.
But, to me, in most cases the movie would have been even better without it.
I'll admit I'm highly sensitive to spoilers, though. I absolutely never watch theatrical...
Blasphemy!
Godfather Part II is my #1 favorite movie of all-time.
Seriously though, you can't go wrong whichever one you choose.
Like you, I would LOVE to see it in theaters, but unfortunately that will not be possible.
I must say I'm a bit surprised at the complaints about slow shipping. I've placed several dozen orders with Bull Moose and have almost always found their shipping speed to be excellent.
Like others, I would have preferred a different ending. But I hope all the talk about the ending isn't discouraging people from giving it a try.
IMHO, this is still a very good movie, and I would strongly encourage anyone who hasn't seen it to check it out.
With all due respect, I think that Martin Teller was mistaken about Lynch spilling the beans about the baby in that special feature.
He is correct though that "Stories" is a terrific extra that is well worth seeing. My gf, who is a Lynch fan, enjoyed it much more than the movie itself.
Until I...
There was an L.A. television station newscaster in the late 60's named George Putnam. He looked like Ted Baxter, sounded like Ted, and, apparently, was just as dumb as Ted.
Considering that a lot of complete series sets are sold in extremely crappy packaging, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people end up being HAPPY about owning the first 4 seasons individually.
