Land's End -- single-season syndicated drama from 1995/96 starring Fred Dryer, Geoffrey Lewis, and Tim Thomerson.
Rights are held by Disney but I don't imagine it's a priority for them. Maybe music clearance issues too.
Shame, as the show was super quirky and made the most of its setting in...
I remember watching a couple of episodes on late-night TV in the UK way back when. It didn't really stand up to comparisons with Magnum, which was its obvious inspiration, right down to the presence of Patrick Mcnee as a John Hillerman-a-like. Still, I'd pick it up out of curiosity.
Consider it done. [email protected][email protected] FWIW, Anchor Bay says it's looking at the financial viability of releasing additional seasons. It has so far released three of seven. Cannell reckons all seven seasons will eventually be released. If Anchor Bay...
I too will be hugely disappointed if Anchor Bay stalls on Hunter halfway through. Season 4 was originally slated for April 2006 but was pulled from the schedule. Season 3 was a bare bones release on flipper discs at a lower price than Seasons 1 and 2, so I'd guess they're looking at sales...

I'm not yet permitted to post links. But Google is your friend :) Head to KittyO's splendid "Wonderful World of Hunter", which features a message board, where you'll find a couple of questions about music in that very episode. From the lyrics you've given, it sounds as though the song...
Yep, I'm collecting Hunter on DVD, and am also keen to see all seven seasons -- even Season 7, where Hunter moved to Metro after Stepfanie Kramer left the show. I was a huge fan as a kid. I have to say that Cannell/Anchor Bay's decision not to license the original music really hurt the first...
I'm still waiting on my discs to arrive, but it seems pretty much all the Season 1 music has been replaced, in common with the TVLand airings. So that means no U2, Talking Heads, Jethro Tull, Pat Benatar, ZZ Top... There's been a lot of discussion of this on the Wonderful World of Hunter...
