Yeah, same here. My pre-order from Walmart got stuck in the shipping process (whatever that means), so they had to cancel that order, but it's now showing as "Sold Out", which is the case at both Amazon and DeepDiscount as well. And Target and B&N aren't even carrying it. I did place an order...
My pre-orders for THE ABYSS and TRUE LIES shipped on-time, but the one for ALIENS got screwed up in the shipping process (because of course it did) and had to be canceled....and now ALIENS is out of stock at Amazon, Walmart and DeepDiscount, and neither Target nor Barnes & Noble even appear to...
Does anyone know if the Complete Series set has any content on it that isn't already on the six individual season set releases? The Complete Series has rather a good price on Amazon today and if there's any additional stuff, I might just pick that up instead of getting the last few individual...
Might be getting the re-release of The Great Train Robbery as it's one of my favorites, but I'm having trouble determining what (if any) are the differences between this and the previous Blu-Ray release.
I note that Amazon.uk still lists an April 17 release date for the steelbooks set. Is there any indication of whether the UK release is still on target?
Just wanting to be clear: content-wise, there's no difference at all between buying these releases separately or in the boxed set (like, there's no added content you can only get with the boxed set, right)?
I really want The Usual Suspects. I've never upgraded from my DVD because none of the Blu-Ray releases have ever included the commentary or other features from the DVD release. Does anyone have any idea whether this new release has any of that? I'd hate to pass it up again....
Hi ModFather,
I can't access the WB sale, When I try this link https://www.moviezyng.com/warner, it takes me to a page that says "resource not found," and the link in the first post just doesn't work at all. Do you (or anyone else) have any suggestions?
Thanks!
I'm moderately interested in Star Trek: Lower Decks, but not for that price. If it ever gets down to $20 or less, I might pick it up. (I'm still annoyed they didn't do a steelbook release this time around, too.)
Trying to avoid buying from Amazon wherever possible, so I'm relying on Target for the Brooklyn Nine Nine Blu-Ray collection. Is there any way to know ahead of time if Target is carrying these in stores or whether it'll be online only?
What's going on with the Ghostbusters Ultimate Collection 4K/Blu-Ray set? Amazon now just lists it as "Out Of Stock," while Best Buy says "Coming Soon," with no option for pre-ordering. And it's just flat-out not even listed on Target's website. Does anyone know if it's been delayed or...
Just FYI, it looks like the link for the Black Magic Blu-Ray leads to a movie called "The Deeper You Dig." Also, a search for Black Magic on Amazon yields no results.
Hugely excited about The Last of Sheila (it's been a favorite for years, but I never thought I'd get a Blu-Ray release!) and I didn't know about L.A. Story, so that'll be an easy buy for me too. Thanks as always, Mike!
Sound advice, Jake--thanks very much! I'll definitely try logging on first thing Tuesday morning and see if that helps.
How do you find out when a steelbook becomes available for order? I checked on Black Widow awhile back and all Best Buy had available was the standard edition.
The Best Buy Steelbook release of Black Widow is confusing. It won't let me do store pickup within 250 miles of Burbank, CA, and says that delivery is unavailable for this item (so basically I just can't order it at all).
On the other hand, if I set my store to somewhere out-of-state (in this...
Nothing for me this week...I was going to get Batman: The Long Halloween Part One, and then I found out there are plans for a collected edition of Parts 1 & 2 next year, so I'll wait for that.
