I googled my name and found this thread. To bring a sense of closure to the topic, yes the Impact Acousitics switcher works like a charm. Expecially when I use it with my Harmony 880. Highly recommended
The next home I will buy is going to have an "out-building" for an HT. I feel the big obstacle with your set up of getting enough juice out there. You will need a panel, and security.
If you are really set on buying something at a brick and mortar you are better served buying some athenas at BB. But yes head on over to the speaker threads for more help.
I posted this on the "other" forum but wanted to let those who play here know about it too. http://www.frappr.com/under3500msrpd...rojectorowners I have started a Frappr Map on Google for people who own Digital Projectors that have a MSRP of
Good!! It just took a little courage and justification. By justification I mean that you probably convinced yourself that you were going to buy a new DVD player if this did not work out for you. :) I do that all the time. That' how I got my DVB318 in the first place.
I don't think putting on it's end is a big deal especially for only a few minutes. Just tip it up and slide it through on a towel or rug. I am having a hard time visualizing so I might be completely off base here.
I was reading this thread (I know many months too late) and was ready to set up an account for him on paypal so we could chip in and pay for the damn movers for him.
I have a 65" Mitsu and had a similar problem when I lived in a little '50s home in Cleveland. First we took the tv apart. It comes in 3 pcs (screen, top cabinet, and bottom where the guts are). We also had to take off the door to the room and the trim. I understand your fear. Is there a way...
Congrats Dude, Wow you actually heard the words "I want it now." while in bed. That's a major accomplishment and you scored a big TV too. Keep an eye on those Reward Points. Make sure they get applied to your account. I had a heck of time making BB stick to the rules on that. Google for...
I would be very confindent that they will be SIGNIFIGANTYLY reduced if not eliminated. Go get some component or DVI cables ASAP! They really to make a diffence. What sources are you using?
That shot really impressed me too. And notice another thing. There is no vertical banding in that pic either. My Z3 is completely devoid of any VB. Plus it has the dust blob cleaner and the 3 year warranty. My Z3 is calibrated using a CC20R filter ($7.00) and a 1 dB attenuator ($4.50) on the...
You can handle a little ambient light but of course it's best with total darkness. I have an up-converting DVD player and yes the Z3 does have HDMI and 2 component inputs. I do not see screen door effect at 12ish feet but the image looks better at a longer distance. With a 84 inch screen you...
As we all know the the main dfference with RPTV and FP is the ambient light situation. I believe that if you have ambient light at any level your FP picture will suffer greatly. So if you have light issues save yourself some headaches and go for the RPTV. I think everyone in the display forum...
I am using component with the old firmware. But no I have not seen any defects with the 318. I am very happy with what I have been getting out of that unit. No image shifting no macroblocking nothing.
Yesterday was the first time that I have had one of my legendary parties since I bought my Z3. Things were going along as planned when someone mentioned, "Hey we have to watch the Preakness!". I am not one for horse racing but I would me more than happy to accommodate my guests. Honestly I...
I enjoy mine as often as I can. I have comeup with some rules for myself. Since I have a 65" HDTV right behind my screen I force myself to watch movies on that during the week and save the Projector for the weekends. SACRIFICIES, SACRIFICIES Thanks for the input.
No it's not but when i run a 1080i signal to the Z3 the progressive function is not greyed out. It allows me to (in theory) de-interlace the 1080i. Honestly I can't tell a difference but I was just wondering.
Are they an approved ventor for Sanyo? I would STRONGLY advise against buying from someone without approval. Is it really worth extra couple bucks? GO to a good place like Projectorpeople and ask them for their best price. You will be happy you did.
Could someone PLEASE tell me if you can flash to the old firmware so you can still upconvert over component. And where can I get the software. THANKS!!!
I bought this one and it works great. It has a remote and 2 outs. It can also handle 1080i. http://www.impactacoustics.com/produ...1002&sku=40020 No interference or loss of picture quality. I use mine so I can run my Xbox,PS2, HD Decoder and DVD all into the 1080i input on my Mitsu RPTV...
