If it's like the 1014, it doesn't send the receiver information via component cables, just fyi. You need only a single composite video from the receiver to the tv. I use the component in/out on the receiver and had to run a seperate composite cable just for receiver information.

Not sure if this is the answer to your problem, but I believe that gt4 only outputs 1080i during the actual race. On the menu's and other screens it's 480.

I got an email about this from Comcast recently. Their instructions were to do a modem power cycle, unplug for 2 minutes then plug it back in. Let it re-acquire connection and you are good to go. Worked for me, as I noticed an immediate improvement after the power cycle.

If you don't want the antenna to go up/down you just don't connect the power antenna lead on the head unit.
