Dan: I called and requested my 1.4 on June 30th from Tosiba. I called the customer support yesterday (7/11) and was told that the new allotment of discs had not yet arrived @ Toshiba, so mine had not been sent to me yet and they couldn't give me an ETA.

Question: I didn't have any problems playing either version of Dune DVD-18 disc on my player (same with the Frighteners disc recently released). If the disc plays fine, does that mean its okay or do I need to be worried about a delamination (i.e. "Rot") issue sometime in the future...

Just a question as to what the folks on here would prefer: If money was no object, would you go with a large LCD screen (1080p) or a projector (1080p) for the ideal HT set-up? Which gives the best picture quality? Just curious.

Stephen La: I use Epson Photo Paper Super A3/Super B from CompUSA. Its 13" x 19" which I cut in half and make 2 sheets almost the size of legal paper.

I just use the cutter at Kinko's.

With regard to the noise I heard on my DTS track: Its at the chapter change from chapter 15 to chapter 16 (Time 46:49-50). The sound is kinda a quick pop or some kind of noise and its in the music. I listened to the Dolby track at the same place in the movie and the sound distortion was not...
