    I was originally going to go for the Fluance sx-htb's but I just read some nasty stuff about the rears and center not being any good, and that it would be better to just upgrade them later. So I was thinking why not get some nice towers to start with then go from there was I have the money? But...

    Thank you all, that really helped. I will go for the dayton now. Cables should be cheap($10 for subwoofer cable, and $20 for speaker wire, I got all the other rca cables already). My budget is about $600.00 Anthony*B: I don't know what you mean, the SX-HTB is the more exspensive model..

    Thanks for the info! I don't relly want to spend a whole bunch on a receiver, as I will probably not be using a outboard amp. About the subs: I want to be able to "feel" the sound and I'm worried that a 40hz sub won't cut it...
