I have a similar question. I already have DVE. Is there any reason to get AVIA too? I have a H77 projector to calibrate.

SVS PB10-ISD Subwoofer Test & Review

Edward, thanks for the informative reply. But I was not doubting you. I just want to know in what way the PB2U is better than dual PB10 because I bought the PB2U :) I was considering PB2U or the dual PC+. Actually the dual PC+ can probably perform equal or better the PB2U at a lower cost...

    Any Negatives about SVS?

I suggested to SVS about the test tones over email and they say they are going to sell AVIA. I do wish they can provide some simple test tones free of charge either through download or CD.

    black PB2U weight??

Does anyone hear have the EXACT dimensions of the black PB2U? SVS website list it as "approximately" 19" wide, 26" tall and 29" deep. I am building a shelf directly above the sub and I want it to match my sub's dimension exactly.

    black PB2U weight??

Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows the weight of the PB2U (black)? Eric from SVS told me the shipping weight was 200 pounds but the sub itself was significantly lighter. Does anyone here knows the weight of the sub itself? I need to know how hard it is to move that sub when it arrives.

    dual PC+16-46 vs PB2U

I got the PB2U. Basically in the end, it was the aesthetics reason that won out. There is just no place for dual PC+...

    dual PC+16-46 vs PB2U

From the numbers, the dual PC+ can go louder than the PB2U (tuned to 20hz) on all frequencies. mm... From the other thread, it seems that Tom is saying that there is no (or very little) differences between the plus driver and ultra driver at low volumes. So ignoring things like aethestics...

Comparison of SVS CS, CS+, CS Ultra, and Servodrive Contrabass

I see quite a few is using this review to make inferences on the PB2U. But I noticed that Ned prefered the 16hz tune of the CSU over the 20hz. quote I was actually a little disappointed at how the sound character changed in the 20hz tune. It shifted from being more visceral and tactile to...

    dual PC+16-46 vs PB2U

Thanks for the replies. I did contact SVS and Erik said that PB2U would have a slight edge but it would be close. So I guess if I am not concerned about sub 16 Hz, a PB2U will beat the dual PC+16-46? Is the one port blocked PB2U 6db stronger than a single PC+16-46 at higher frequencies...

    dual PC+16-46 vs PB2U
