i'd advise against a speaker switch box... most all of the signal degradation and loss occurs at the point of connection. adding a speaker switch box introduces 2 more points of connections further degrading and filtering the source signal.

Aaron, you owe it to yourself to give the Von Schweikerts a listen...i've heard the VR-2s and they are pretty impressive for the $$$. very different sound than the Energy Veritas though which is why i rec'd that you give them a listen...
i humbly suggest choosing a white van speaker brand. this way every manufacturer would feel like their ego was being stroked when compared to this baseline. but then again white van speakers aren't widely available in retail stores so maybe a bose acoustimass system will have to do then. :laugh:
