I just purchased the new Hunger Games movie in 4K from Target for $17.92 less .89 for my red card. For some reason it was the same price as the blu ray, but I'll take it!
I purchased an AWOL UST Projector and 120" Screen, not realizing that I could not accomodate the 120" size. I was outside of the return window, but had to purchase an alternative screen. This screen has never been removed from the carton and is completely factory sealed. It would be better to...
After all of the hoopla in 1980, I had never seen this film. When it was shown on the Criterion ChannMel, I watched it and could not believe how much I enjoyed it. I have since purchased it. I am bumping this thread because I recently came across the documentary “The Final Cut” and it renewed my...
If you have a light controlled room, the LTV-2500 is in that price range and is excellent, although the more expensive LTV-3500 is worth the extra cash IMHO.
Around 1989 - 1990 I remember seeing Hondo televised in 3D and introduced by Michael Wayne. Anaglyph glasses were sold at 7-eleven to watch iT. Does anyone remember this? I just can’t understand why that was done back then and the Wayne estate wond release it to 3D Bluray.
I have been looking all over the net to see if there is anything different about this release. I have the 2014 Criterion (Spine 709) that came with a paperback edition of Chase's novel. Does this new release have anything to add?
Does anyone know what makes the Criterion Red River edition new? I have the criterion Blu ray from a few years ago. Looking on Amazon it indicates an extended cut, which I am not sure I have. Does anyone know what is different?
I also had two $10 gift certificates to apply:
The Velvet Underground (Blu-ray)
One-Eyed Jacks (Blu-ray)
The Thin Red Line (Blu-ray)
Merrily We Go To Hell (Blu-ray)
All good. Love Criterion editions.
Can someone tell me whether The Quiet Man is an upgrade over previous releases? (I have them all). The movie is a favorite of mine that has never really had a definitive Bluray (or 4K) release.
I had this happen with Top Gun Maverick. I ordered the steelbook 4K version and received the standard 4K version. After talking to the customer service rep, I was told to keep the incorrect copy and they re-ordered the 4K Steelbook, which went out of stock soon after. My delivery date changed 3...
I could not agree more. Also a charter subscriber and will NEVER discontinue my subscription. I never fail to find something I am anxious to watch. I wish them continuing prosperity.
I don’t knew when you are planning on vacating, but in most jurisdictions 30 days written notice is required, even if you are month to month. Letter should be sent to the contact point indicated in your rental agreement, certified with return receipt.
Can someone clarify? I cannot find a discussion of a defective disc. I bought Citizen Kane during the BN sale last fall and haven’t opened it. What is the defect, how do I confirm I have the defect and how do I rectify it?
From what I understood the past several years Coppola & co. were blocking it in order to assure that Coppola Sr’s score was used. Does anyone know anything about this?
